I would like to translate full sentences or texts
We don't offer full text translation exercises, but that doesn't make us bad people.
This word-by-word approach is not compatible with our method, and not very efficient in the sense that there are always several correct ways to translate the same sentence!
We also believe the semantic and automatic interpretation of a text by a computer is not truly effective for language learning. In addition, our ability to communicate in a foreign language depends mainly on our ability to produce the right words and the right turns of phrase at the right time, without necessarily having to "think" of their equivalents in our native language!
